About / The practice

About the work.

I am an artistic intellectual: I build rational frameworks for societal problems, and I give them form through writing, video and art. halve is where that thinking lives.

Alongside it runs a channeling practice. In quiet sessions, Leevi sets the ordinary mind aside and listens — for words, images and teachings that arrive from somewhere wider than the self — and writes down what comes.

At the centre of that practice stands Jesus. Not chiefly as a figure to be believed about, but as a living presence whose teaching on unity — the Kingdom within, love without an enemy — is the ground these texts keep returning to. He is read here as a fully realised human being: the pattern that consciousness follows when fear stops contracting it. Different ways of naming him are welcome; the substance is not up for argument.

Nothing here is offered as proof or prophecy. Each transmission is an invitation: to sit with a question, to let it stay open, and to notice what stirs when you stop reaching for an answer.

The name comes from a simple belief: we only ever see half of anything. The other half — the hidden, the sacred, the not-yet-understood — is what these pages go looking for.

How the texts arrive

Every piece begins in stillness. What is received is written down first as it came — raw, exact — and only then shaped, lightly, into the essays, notes and fragments you find in the archive. The wording is halve's; the current underneath it is not.

Sessions and gatherings happen quietly, in small company. This journal is their public shelf: the part of the practice that can be read alone, late, in silence.
